Halloween Activities Geared to Young Families
My blog the other day discussed what to do this week-end for SCARY activities. That obviously won’t work for the toddler and elementary age group so I polled some people on what would be good week-end activities for families with younger children.
Farmstead Festival: Corner of I-84 and Eagle Road. This festival is open from 4 – 9p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4 – 11 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. It has an 18 acre corn maze, pig races, pony rides, hay rides, jumping pillow, cow train and corn box. PLUS – the older kids can go to the Field of Screams at dark if they like. They have concessions too so you won’t go hungry: http://www.farmsteadfestival.com/
Linder Farms: Located at 7165 S Linder Road in Meridian. Linder is one mile West of Kuna/Meridian Hwy. Linder Farms is between Lake Hazel and Columbia Roads. Hours are 4 to 9p.m. on Thursday, 4 – 10p.m. on Friday, and 10a.m. to 10p.m. on Saturday. This is home of the 15 acre BSU Bronco corn maze. Other attractions include hay rides, pumpkin patch, playground, obstacle course, laser tag, swings, concessions and MORE:http://www.linderfarms.com/?gclid=CIjtsZ2xh6wCFQhLgwodPzzfUA
