Since her emergence to stardom on YouTube almost a decade ago, Lindsey has been gaining steam with pop, electronica, dance and even classical violin fans around the globe. She has toured all over the world reaching many people with the combination of her upbeat electric violin music and intricate dance moves (both of which she does at the same time during her shows).
On October 3rd she will make her second visit to Boise and will be playing at Memorial Stadium (the ball park of the Boise Hawks). Tickets start at about $56 for general admission.
October 1st to October 31st
1020 S Rackham Way, Meridian, ID & 7165 S Linder Rd, Meridian, ID
Corn mazes are the epitome of fall fun; in the Boise area, we are lucky enough to have two amazing corn mazes to enjoy every year. Both the Farmstead and Linder Farms are prevalent parts of the community with completely different mazes and experiences to offer their guests.
Taking a spin in the corn maze is so much fun, and it is a tradition for many locals to do so, making both mazes well attended each year. They have the maze, rides, animals, and even great food—so be sure to come hungry.
This year, Linder Farms has made their maze in a Boise State Bronco theme while the Farmstead opted for a Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon theme, a decision that has been getting a lot of national press.
Taco Bell Arena
If you love mainstream concerts, then you will love this. Maroon 5, one of the hottest bands of the decade, is making their way to the main stage at Boise’s own Taco Bell Arena. For one night you can experience Maroon 5 like you’ve never seen them before here in our humble town of Boise. Maroon 5 is easily one of the biggest bands to hit Boise this year so it is sure to be a night to remember.
Maroon 5 will also be accompanied by Tove Lo and Phases to help you start your evening off right. Tickets start at $50 and can go as high as $126 and they are going fast so act now! The arena doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30.
Weekends October 1st to October 30th
World Center for Birds of Prey
Birds of Prey are some of Idaho’s most beautiful native animals. And thanks to the World Center for Birds of Prey, the Peregrine Fund, and the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey Conservation Area we can enjoy the majesty of these birds too. Aside from their usual presentations, conservation activities, and study, the Birds of Prey center is also a zoo like experience were the public can see these beautiful birds up close.
October is special however, because the experts and falconers at the center do live bird demonstrations outside with some of their bigger and more impressive birds. It is a great chance to learn about and appreciate these amazing birds. While you’re there you can even check out their gift shop and interactive learning center.
Fridays and Saturdays
October 1st to October 31st

Another staple of the fall season after pumpkins and crunchy leaves are haunted houses. With Halloween coming, everyone is getting their scare on, and many can’t wait to be scared. If you are in either category then you are sure to enjoy a trip to the Haunted World, Idaho’s largest haunted house.
Each year the Haunted World gets bigger and better, making it quite the attraction. It draws large crowds almost every night offering visitors all the thrills and chills they have come to expect from a haunted house. If you are looking to get scared this Halloween season, then the Haunted World is the place to go. Check out their website for times and pricing.
Well, if you weren’t excited for October before you probably are now. Between colossal concerts, hair-raising haunted houses, and massive mazes there is no way that October 2016 will be anything less than awesome.
