November

Wow.  Time has gotten away from me!  November is a very busy month.  Not only is it time to prepare for the holidays there are a lot of fun things to do around the valley.  Everything from wine tasting, farmer’s markets, a dog training event, a film festival, and much more. The people of Idaho like to be social and have fun.

NewDance: Form & Concept – Ballet Idaho

Stinker Stores Stomp Out Hunger 2018

November 9 – November 19, All Stinker Store Locations in Idaho

Help Stinker Stores stomp out hunger.  All you have to do is donate $1 with each of your purchases and Stinker will match that amount.  Each dollar that is donated the Idaho Food Bank can serve five people a meal. That’s pretty awesome!  Stinker has set a goal to raise $56,000 for 2018. They feel pretty confident they can raise that much since last year they were able to raise $56,771 and then Stinker kicked in another $25,000 bringing the total to $81,771.  Being a part of such a wonderful campaign can be a fulfilling experience.

Beginning Adult Breakdance

The Forgotten Carols Play

Don’t miss this enchanting, and witty musical which tells the story of Connie Lou a disenchanted nurse assigned to take care of an elderly man named only Uncle John for the holidays.  This charming, mysterious, eccentric gentleman introduces her to a different look at the holidays, encouraging her to open her heart to others, and the joy of the holiday season.

Festival of Trees

November 21st to 25th, 10am – 9pm

Boise Centre on the Grove, 850 W Front St, Boise, Idaho

This is the 35th anniversary of this charming event to benefit St. Alphonsus Hospital.  There will be an elaborate display of decorated trees which will be for sale. Performers from around the valley will perform, and share their talents.  Santa will be available to listen to holiday wishes, and for photos at the North Pole Village. Look for the K- 6 art contest, Train display, and the Lego display.

The month of November is chock full of exciting things to do that will make your holidays extraordinary.  Don’t forget to take some time this busy holiday season to have fun, and get involved in the community.
